I have one final decision to make on my 572 Hemi and that's whether i should go hydraulic OR go small solid roller cam.  I know 'solid' means more power AND periodic adjustments but am hoping for 'once a year' adjustments possibly if i go that way.  Am I crazy?  I will be going with Tim Banning at 'FHO Hemis' to do the build.

Also worry about Hemi rocker cover removal on my 73 challenger and interference with my shock towers.
Help!  I'm ready to get movin' on this.

Solid Roller Hands down..... What do you mean by small roller though! I also dont think youll have to worry about the valve cover either..... I know a guy thta has a 572 hemi cuda with no issues!

Just don't want too much lift.

I would worry more about durationn @ 50 than lift ......

:iagree: solid roller cam in a stroked Hemi would be the best power cam choice.

Aluminum heads (If you're going roller might as well go aluminum heads) Stage V
Roller Rockers
Aluminum Rocker stands
Roller Cam
Roller lifters
Block notched for push rods (based on lift)
Valve covers with extra clearance vs. OEM's

I haven't priced it all out what it would all end up being but 6-7 grand is a ballpark I'm thinking.

 :iagree:
 Lunati has some wicked profiles
I also agree that duration is the enemy not lift , with tight duration you will have good vacuum & drivability & great power in the stock RPM range & still have close to .600 lift
