Hi,

So I know this is a long shot, but I am in the process or restoring an Original Californian 1970 Hemi Cuda. Unfortunatley the car is missing a small piece, the engine, not to mention the transmission and fender tag.
I know its a long shot, but I thought I would see if anyone out there may have info on the motor/tranny or even the build sheet or fender tag for this car. I would appreciate any info that I can get and may even offer a small reward if I manage to locate the original block again.
So the car's registration was 315 ATH (California Licence Plate) and has the vin number: BS23R0B199592
The car originally came with a Grand Coupe interior, B3 Blue with Black Vinyl roof and black interior.
So if anyone knows any info or anyone that I can contact that may know of this car I would love to hear from you!

Thanks

Steve

Is that the car that was for sale in the bay area a few months ago that use to be a drag car?

I remember this car very well Steve. I got your e-mail today inquiring if my engine was the match.

George the recent previous owner bought it from Ken Moss. I spoke with George quite a few times a few years ago.

At the time I was really hunching that it was the missing car to my original Hemi engine. The reason why was because I felt that the probabilty of my engine and that car couldn't have wandered off too far from each other. It was seen in the past racing at Fremont raceway with a Volkswagen Rabbit seat in it.

In the end, it wasn't the matching car to my engine. My engine was produced in February 1970 meaning it was even rarer. A 71 Hemi block. All I know so far about my engine is that it came out of a 71 Challenger. The Challenger owner sold it to someone who put it in a boat. The previous owner bought it from him and then I bought it after he blew out his cam.
