console cassette player (SOLD)
« on: October 11, 2009 - 02:41:52 PM »
In 1981 I bought this from a buddy who removed it to put guages in it's place.  My convertible had the holes in the console for the cassette player.  I bought it to restore my car to original. Fast forward to now.  The cassette has been stored in a/c ever since it was removed.  I do not believe it was an option on my car.  I am leaning more toward building the car the way I want it instead of a restoration. I am not going to use the cassette.  This unit is in very good condition.  It was working when pulled.  All I did was dust it off and take pics.  It really didn't need cleaned. It does have a crack that needs glued above where the tape goes in. It is on the right side. The face and the complete case is scratch free.  The bottom and mounting plate are good without corrosion.  It can be dyed in any color you want. The case has never been dyed.  I am asking $400.00 for it.  It would be very difficult to find another in this condition.

It says the uploader is full.  I can't get pics to post.  I'll keep trying.
