air cleaner lid gasket

 :1zhelp: Has anybody replaced the lid gasket and what did you use. I can not find any thing to repace it with I thought maybe using some rubber hose like fuel line.

I think the some of the originals are fiber like a rope or cord.  Was yours rubber?

There's been a thread or two here about this.

I used some black weatherstripping from Lowes or Home Depot.

mine was almost like a rubbery foam material that fell apart.

3M must sell something like what your looking for.

Hardware store in the door weather strips section.
Ever see thst stuff thats foamy that sticks on one side?.
You put it on the edges of your door to seal.
