FJ6 paint code no good
« on: October 04, 2016 - 09:06:29 PM »
I have been to a few paint suppliers inquiring for fj6 and they say the code does not exist.  Has anyone had issues with this before? Am I messing something up?

Thanks for the input.  It looks like some of these colors don't show up at distributors with the original paint code but if you call their tech department they can look it up and give you their own number which is what 1 wild r/t posted.

I just had this issue with GB2 in Dupont/Nason. The single stage Nason is available, but not in a base/clear for the Dupont/Axalta/Nason. Their tech center gave a comparable code, and the dealer mixed up a 3oz. bottle of base coat for me to try for comparison. I haven't sprayed it out on a test paddle yet to see if its right or not.
