Fuel Bowl Holley - Inlet Thread Stripped
« on: October 21, 2009 - 11:46:00 AM »
The inlet threads are stripped in the center carb on my 6-Pak set-up.  I assume there are no fixes for this.  Can I buy a bowl for it though?

CP... do you know which carb has the same bowl? The 4bbl ones? I dont recall which ones work. I have a few you can have but the are not 6bbl... so the vent setup is wrong. I swear there was some 600CFM 4bbl that used the exact same centerhung bowl with the vent and vapor nipple...

Here's a couple of pictures of the bowl, moper.  I'm certainly interested in what it would cost me through you.  I have not done any checking, as I was not sure where to look or what the part number even was.  I'm located in Indiana.  Let me know what you think.  Much appreciated.

I can get one for $45 plus shipping, moper.  Would your price be any better?  Thanks.

If you're not running that vent to the valve cover breather, then a regular bowel will work. I guess you know that tho

I will be using the vent.  I thought it went to the air cleaner though.  I ended up going with the eBay lead you provided.  The other ones did not have the "Holley" cast in and the vent tube was not there.  I called Holley and they said they could make one but that it could take up to 2 weeks.  I needed one ASAP.  Thanks again for the lead.  It turned out to be extremely helpful.
