70 Plum Crazy 340 Challenger... in the field.
« on: July 20, 2010 - 12:21:35 AM »
I had heard from my friends in Rockford about this car for a while, and on my way to Belvidere, I made a little side trip to find it.  Wasn't far off the route either!

Very nice guy, took the cover off for me partially and everything.  Had the 340 rebuilt a few years ago, 727 had been gone though, but they were gonna fix her up one day.  Just didn't have the money right then and there to fix the old girl up.

Best all-around Challenger model built (A66) imo :2thumbs: White tail stripe? AC?

Thanks Ryan

Don't know on the stripe or A/C, what you see is what I saw.  Just a few quick pics.

I do like the look, love the slots.  I too would just clean it up and drive it as is.

Nice! I have one of those (purple A66 car), with a 4 speed. Only mine is no where near that nice. Hopefully this winter that will change and it will be painted and reassembled by next summer.
