Where do you plan on getting the extra leafs?

I am in the same boat and need to address the issue as soon as I get my tranny issues straightened out.....

Please keep us up to date as far as how you make out....

Good luck!

Just in case anyone cares. I called Springs n Things.  They quoted me $225 for standard leaf springs for a 74 challenger with the RB engine.  For springs with a +1 inch ride height, it was $250.  I'm debating going with the +1, or +2, I figure I could always use a $20 lowering block if its too high, but if its too low, i would be right back where I was.

I had air shocks too but took apart some springs months ago to fix mine.
I found it on another thread.  Here was my info.

Here are my Cheap MP XHD Springs- Bent Backwards

Left one

Right One isn't so bad because the second spring is closer to the eye. But if the left one is cheap metal, the right one will be too.

Side view--TOO LOW, no air in the shocks

Got some B-body springs, friend said "same length". I found out 1" too long.  Here spring and rear shackle is bottomed out on bumper guard.
CAR SITS TOO HIGH.

Pulled my 2nd leaf out of a set of old E-Body springs and installed them on another old set, right below the second spring.

Now cars sits level where I like it.
Here it is without any air in the shocks.

After swapping the springs out twice over 2 weekends, I think I'll paint them later.
These wheels are 15x10 with a 295-50 tire for sizing in the pics. B-body rear, springs moved in 1"
I'll never tell anyone to buy Mopar XHD springs.

I had bought new leaf springs also and when I put them on, it looked like I had a ton of concrete in the truck. I took them off and had them re-arched 2" over and I love the way it looks now.

I have front and rear sway bars that I put on my R/T. I go around turns FAST. I noticed that if the back end is just a little higher, I don't like the way it goes around turns, so I like it level without a saggy butt.

I'm running Super Stock springs with a 2" lowering block.  Moved in 1" on each side.  Very firm.

I've been trying to decide whether to go with new springs or rebuild my originals. I want to keep the stock height and stock number of leaves. Can they rearch without adding a leaf? How about Eaton springs, anyone ever try that brand? They are almost twice the price of ESPO. Is ESPO made in USA? Thanks.
