RHS sb heads? any good?

Was doing my normal spree through summit racing, dreaming. Was looking at heads for small blocks when I cam upon this.

Any one running a pair of these heads? Are they any good? For the price I wonder what your getting.

Is the weight of cast iron OK with you vs aluminum??  The intake bowls looked deep, thats typically GOOD.  The small diameter intake valve could be changed to larger for more top end flow.  They have hardened exhaust seats, thats good too.   Looks like the guide bosses could be narrowed, streamlined to help flow.  The magnum version also has the same stupid pushrod pinch;  all this CNC capability and they can't cut a slot for the intake pushrod like CHEVY does, with a slot you won't have so much pushrod pinch.  Speedtalk says you want consistent port velocity, meaning minimum changes to cross section area.
They also mention good things about Enginequest cast iron heads.

There is a writeup being done by OU812 on Moparts (Brian). They are bare heads. They will cost about $1000 ready to run, and they need some special attention to run cams with more lift than .500. But the potential is there for some decent flow numbers. You just need a guy who really knows performance work and is familiar with improvisation.

Yea. Laptops fan decided to stop working, that why i never got back to this.
Well how does this look for a bolt-on and go set-up? I would be able to go to a larger valve at school. We have the machine to do it. As for porting, never done it, dont know were to start.

I was looking at a cam with .480 lift for my stroker, I was hoping with this and the cam it should do well.

The general consensus for us magnum-head people at Dakota R/T club is that the engine quest heads are a better deal. The EQ heads flow almost as well and are cheaper. If you want the added flow, then for a little more than the cost of the RHS heads, go with the Edelbrock because they are aluminum - therefor lighter, dissipate heat more, and are more forgiving. I was going back and forth about heads and ended up with the edelbrocks on my truck....
