New E-Body Products Body Panel / Parts Catalog!
« on: January 01, 2010 - 11:48:11 PM »
I have added a catalog download option on my website.  It will more than likely require DSL or other highspeed internet (The PDF file is pretty big) to download properly.

Anyway, I thought it would be really helpful reference for members to quickly identify AMD and other sheetmetal that is available, just so they can see the parts that are available to complete the body work on their car.

Thanks and I hope it helps!  I really have a bunch of time in the catalog.

Also, don't forget, but all CC.com members get 15% off on all AMD retail prices.

Nice, comprehensive catalog.

I noticed for some parts you have both AMD and EBP as the suppliers.  As an example what would be the difference in quality of an AMD e-body rear frame rail vs an EBP e-body rear frame rail? There is quite a price variance between the two.  Thanks.

Dave

EBP (Sherman and sometimes Goodmark) products are of good quality and the panels are very useable.  That said, I have seen that the majority (not all) of the AMD parts are superior and obviously different than their competitors.  From my experience, all reproduction panels will require some amount of adjustment for a desirable fit.  Also, all panels should be test fitted and clamped in place to assure fit.  This should be done prior to welding and primer.

If for some reason you receive a defective panel, it can be replaced or refunded (excluding shipping) as long as you have not primed, welded, ground or beat it with a hammer.

The parts available today are far superior to the older parts and tooling that were available during the late 90's and mid 00's.  The parts primarily had a galvanized finish and the fit was very poor.

And compared to the replacement parts or the mid 80's  :faint:, the fit and quality is unbelievable.
Thanks for putting the catalog together.

I would say it might be 3-6 months out, possibly longer.  Keep checking in.
