2 cudas
« on: July 11, 2009 - 03:04:47 PM »
Found two cudas. One is a 71 cuda B5, 340 auto, billboard car. And I cant tell what the other one is. I think its a 70 or 71. The junk yard I was at will NOT sell them. He plans to "fix them up". But they have been sitting there for WELL over the 3 years I've been going there.

Good idea, those will be on the road in no time.   :smilielol:

I'm betting he's still selling parts from them though.

Hey now c`mon the `71 still has good taillights in it so it shouldn`t be that much work to restore!   :smilielol:

yeah, we'll keep those, and the original radiator cap, get rid of all the rusty crappy old junk, replace with all new repro sheet metal, and be as good as brand spankin new, just at it originally came from the factory assembly line!

Look at the one pic showing the blue interior. I just imagine one of those backs has a nice build sheet in it. Shame people are so pig headed. Just sell the damn thing and let someone put it back on the road.
 One of the things I hated about the Mopar hobby when it got big bucks back in the mid 80's, one guy is thinking about a car with his heart while another is thinking about a car with his wallet.
1971 Challenger (OO==== ====OO) getting close!

Is there a fender tag read out on the 71 or the 70?

I am stupid enough to try to fix those.

Ashamed they are just going to sit there.
