I am sure that some member here lives close by and could go look at it for you.  Just ask.  I would do it for you, if I lived close to it's location.  :2cents:

This one is not a 4 spd but I did test drive it and almost bought it 6 months ago. His asking price has been coming down, and is not a bad car at all:

I also took lots of additional pictures of it...the seller has a VERY nice air conditioned 10-12 car garage and a nice collection as well.

:iagree: I looked at a 68 Charger via the internet once.  Received probably 30 pics and then flew out to Dallas to look at the car before committing.  Took the cash and everything ready to pick up what looked like a nice project car in the pics.  When I saw it in person it was trashed and hacked and not at all what I was thinking.  The guy was nice enough, but I didn't think he was 100% honest with his discription.  Turned out to be an expensive day trip, but I'm glad I walked away for that one.  :grinyes: Never just rely on pics.

Why does the car claim it's a 340 (with decals ect), when it has a 360.  :dunno: :clueless:
False advertizing. :2cents:
He thinks it's worth more than 15K  :nono:

Hi Cowboy, basing on my experience with buying 1,5 year ago my challenger and import to Poland I just can warn you: ask questions, be suspicious, HAVE IT INSPECTED BY A PRO!!! I had my car inspected by "a friend of a friend" but he missed some inconsistencies with the ad:

- tranny not # matching
- trunk floor fiberglassed and rotten in center
- drover floor rusted (pinholes)
- hit in an accident in left rear
- engine with very low CR

At least papers, VIN, FT were OK and the only thing I can't fix with $$$ is numbers on the tranny.

If I were to buy antoher one (boy those prices today are so... nice) it would be from this forum or at least I'd beg somebody from c-c to see and verify the car...
But I joint C-C after I bought the car  :banghead:

Well, - I bougth my Chall here on c.c.c and had it inspected by a friend of a friend..  :bricks1:

He missed the rust in front of the R rear wheel, very noicy rear end, non functional top hydralics, no wires for heating/defrost - and a lot of other small issues..

But all in all I love the car, and are gonne keep and fix it..

And I think I'm gonna go for a 70 B-Body instead of Cuda..  Just have to be 4 speed...

Be VERY suspicious if the guy won't willingly give you the VIN information. I called the seller for one car that I wanted to purchase and asked for the VIN information. The guy talked his way completely around having to give it to me. He was slick. When I got off the phone call with him, I realized that I didn't get the information I had called for in the first place, but the guy seemed extremely nice and trustworthy.

I ended up driving 11 hours (one way) with a trailer to get the car. When I got there, I was expecting more than what I saw. The condition of the car itself was NOT as the seller described. It also didn't look nearly as good in person as it did in the pictures (pictures can be incredibly deceiving). Then, when I went to check the VIN number, it didn't match the TITLE. There were a couple of numbers transposed. It seemed like an honest mistake -- someone just mixed up a couple numbers when titling the car. The seller didn't think it was a big deal, and now I knew why he skirted around the VIN number issue on the phone. It would've been a NIGHTMARE to license the car with mismatched information in Nebraska. I wouldn't have made the day-long trip to get the car if I had known there was something amiss with the VIN information.
