$42k...what can you buy for that...hmm....
I say hold off.
Are you looking for a turn key car? Or minor project car?
If you're set on '70 4-speed 'Cudas, you have a lot of options as many has been made. Maybe not 440 cars, but I bet you can get a fresh resto 383-4speed for the same. Paint looks kind of old, and underside...who knows?
Also, don't know what kinda bondo and rust is under that paint.
If I was in the market for a hard top 4-speed cuda, I'd offer $35k for this:
1971 Cuda. Numbers matching 340, 4 spd. 8 ¾ with 3.55. Entire driveline built by Lofgren Auto Specialties. Dynoed at 469 HP with the factory heads intake and carb. Stroked to 418 cubic inches and built to be bullet proof. I have a big folder with all of the info on the build including dyno sheets. I had intended to build this car for F.A.S.T racing, but now must sell due to money/family issues. Most of the car was assembled by Curtis Performance. All of the suspension is powder coated. Most everything is original parts. Very few re-popped pieces. This is an original FC7 car. It has a front rubber bumper and I added the real shaker hood. 15” ralleys. Pretty much everything is here it just needs some finishing touches. The car runs and drives great on pump gas. This car is really fast, but looks factory. I will let this go for a bargain at $38,000 Car is located in Brooklyn Park, MN Contact me for more details. tjelmeland @ comcast . net (remove spaces)
I have updated the picture. There has been some finishing since the last oine that was on.
