340 Hi Po Manifolds
« on: December 08, 2009 - 09:55:58 PM »
I am looking for a set of 68-70 Hi Po exhaust manifolds. Y'all know the ones, 3553 and 3549. Heat riser not important, and neither is a matched set, so long as they aren't cracked, or warped. I am also not looking to drop a fortune on them, but I am realistic and willing to spend money. So if anyone knows of any let me know.

Yeah the ones I got are cheapies and hang down too low and instead of buying nice tucked up ceramic coated headers I think I will go with stock hi pos. If I can't find a decent set soon I will just buy the nice ceramic headers (Doug's). The whole story is I have a tendancy to pop starter relays (just replaced one a couple of days ago) and need to replace my starter and if the mini starter I get ends up having a problem I don't want to have to fight with it down here in the Bay and manifolds will give me the best clearance I need. PLus I want to put power steering back into the car soon and manifolds are easier to deal with than headers.
