turn signal flasher
« on: December 01, 2009 - 04:23:27 AM »
Hi,
while I was connecting my front turn signal wiring I probably had a short and the light went  off temporarily.  Now that I fixed the short, the turn signal lights work again  but the "flashing" is not smooth and regular.  Generally speaking it seems to be crazy because it blinks very quickly.   Does it due to the burning of the flasher ?

Newer flashers blink faster when you have a burned out bulb. I don't know if it was the case back in the '70's (or if your flasher is that old) but you might want to check to make sure all your bulbs are ok first. If they are ok, I would guess it is your flasher.
