I bought the Dorman front brake hoses. The fitting that goes in the caliper has a female flare at the tip of the hose. My calipers also have a female flare at the bottom of the threads. Seems like its going to leak, Am I supposed to use a copper washer lake a banjo fitting? To confuse me more yearone says they sell a 1974 only hose for $75, but I thought all the calipers were the same. I have power brakes. Any suggestions?
