Goodbye car, hello winter!

  I got a 15 mile test drive before putting it away for the winter yesterday.
50 degrees yesterday 35 rain and snow today. Timing is everything!
oh well spring will be here in only 5 months

I hope to get mine in its new home soon.  And most likely will put the wifes car in there as well maybe this weekend not sure if I can get the doors on.

Great Cuda convertible. I never knew you had it. What a pair of toys!

NO snow yet. Feels like it'll drop soon. The clouds are definitely fortelling.
My Chally has been up in the air for a while now. I am not going to fog this year, just because the car is not timed properly, nor is it running perfectly.
I need to start it one last time this weekend, and pull the battery.
On the up note, I did manage to get  a jet heater, and another overhead light.
My first project is to insulate the garage, then move to the basement projects.

Hood- I dig the cover up sequence. That is how you protect a car from over anxious door openers....

No the hardtop has not been running for quite a few years.  I'm hoping that it gets done this winter so I can have my baby ready for spring.  It has been to long and I'm definitely going through withdraws. 

I had to scrap the block that I was using as #6 cylinder had a sleeve in it and was leaking anti-freeze into the combustion chamber.  Not a good combo.  I have a new block now and am trying to put it together.  I think this will be the fifth time I have put the engine in the car . . . and hopefully the last for a while.   

Well then my friend may I suggest you consider something like this :

I feel bad you all have to put your cars away and don't get to enjoy them year round. I drive mine all year round. Well I kind of have to, it's my only transportation. Lucky for me the winter is really mild in the Bay Area.
