Well that's my plan..."a multiple prong of attack". Hope there's no surprises when I pull the back seat. Many thanks again, you guys are the best. Lunch, I'm saving your 340 pictures.  :22yikes:

I was surprised how neat they were, food on one side and crap on the other.

The mice have cuase more damage on my car then rust. They chewed holes through both inside quarter panel plastic pieces, chewed the steering wheel, window row down knobs, and the list goes on and on.

We need a I hate mice type of smilie.

Wow, you got it bad.  At least the mice I had were mostly dead, I think the live ones went into my house.  :banghead:

When I bought my car it was in a barn in New Hampshire.  My brother in law wouldn't even go in the car because of the mouse urine smell.  Rascals took the seat cushion material and made nests all over.  If it wasn't for wanting to clean out the mice, I wouldn't have found my buildsheets, although they ate up one pretty bad.

Places where ther were in my car:

-cowl- the worst because now I have a cowl leak from the water that was dammed in from the mouse house.

-in back of rear seat

-headliner-poke the headliner, if it feels firm, it's a mouse house

-inside the area where the rear window crank is above the rocker, in front of the rear wheel.

-kick panel area

-any place between the air intake of the cowl to where the lower vent area is where the air blows on you from the vent under the dash.

-sides of trunk

glue boards didn't work for me, moth balls seemed to work.

Seal up the exhaust and air intake of the air cleaner.

I can't remember what brand I have but I have two of them plugged in around my pole barn and I noticed no difference whatsoever between the before and after usage. I still keep them going, but I still have a big mouse problem out there. I may just have a cheap brand or something so I can't knock them all, just the ones I use which also are supposed to work with mosquitos which hasn't helped in the summer either. Who knows, it may be worth a try. I have pretty sensitive hearing and I can actually get annoyed with their high pitch after a while as well. :dunno:

I just picked this up from Home Depot, haven't plugged it in yet.  Supposedly it treats a whole house.  Guy says it sends signals through your electrical wiring, I dunno if that's true or not.  He recommended this over the Black and Decker ones because those only treat a small room, this one treats 2,000 sq. ft.  There are different models for different size areas you are treating.  Supposedly it take a couple of weeks to start being effective.  At first when plugged in, you might actually see MORE activity due to it driving mice out of the walls.

There are reviews on this site you can read.

I have never tried this but a buddy does this at his hunt camp and swears by it?
Get a bucket ,put a piece of wood or something to act as a ramp up to the rim of the bucket. Add 6" or so of antifreeze. Then coat with peanut butter a rim all the way around about 1 1/2" below the rim of the bucket. The mice can't resist peanut butter ( smell). they fall into the antifreeze and drown. I'm told the antifreeze keeps the stink down?
Cheap, simple and effective! Worth a try? :dunno: He says he also does this in his travel trailer and always in the spring come back to a bucket full of dead mice with no stink? Some time the oldtimers have the best solutions?

That sounds like a cheap solution Brad and it might work good.   :2thumbs:
