1972 Charger 400/auto Project Car
« on: December 27, 2009 - 12:41:28 PM »
We just picked this up. I will be listing it on Ebay soon, but thought I would offer it here first if anyone is interested please call Scott at 520-661-9819, or you can email me at my66chrysler74@yahoo.com  The car is located near Tucson, AZ. The price is $2500.
It is a factory 400 4bbl car with AC and front disc brakes. It appears to have the original motor in it. The carb caught fire and burned the wiring harness and it has been sitting in this condition for a number of years. The car will need a complete restoration.
The body is very solid. This would make a great clone car or racecar project. Original color was HT8 Dark Tan with a HT8 bench seat interior. It now has a white bucket seat interior, but needs a complete restoration.

If the carb caught fire, it probably jumped timing.  Could be some internal damage in the engine - just ask me how I know... :stomp:  :swear:

Still sounds like a good deal - good luck with the sale

I know it's rough, but it's still a factory big block Charger. If anyone is interested I dropped the price to $1500!! Call Scott 520-661-9819.
