Anyone From Down Under Recognize These??
« on: March 14, 2010 - 12:50:14 AM »
Found these while searching on "Flickr" and wondered if anyone knows where they are from or what show.
Looks like Australia.  The cars are right hand drive.  I love the look of this angle.

That should be enough for now!! :picture:

Well done ! It is in Australia at an annual gathering called Chryslers on the Murray. I took the pics , I'm not a serious car nut  , more an amateur photog , but who can resist these beautiful beasts ?! Great to see and hear them being driven too. Heres a link to the whole set of photos:

Dang, those are some cool cars and popping images. Not a fan of the RHD conversion on the classic cars, although it'll make day to day life easier down under, it ruins the vibe of the cars and where they're from. Moderns, sure, classics, meh. :P RHD or LHD, still an awesome bunch of cars.

Thanks for the info. & link Spinner.  You did a great job snapping the cars as they came around that bend.
You have a good eye & steady hand ( or tripod )

most of the cars that are RHD were converted years ago, because
you were not allowed to register the car if it was LHD. Most of the cars that
are built know are LHD, because its easier.

Great looking pics!  Very professional, IMO!

Sorry, but it's just weird seeing someone on the right hand side and no one in the passenger/left hand side seat....  :screwy:  Normal to you guys down under, but mind blowing to me seeing these old Mopars like that...
