Here are a couple of pics of an extra original tail section that I have. I don't have a pic of the top side of the panel, but I can tell you that the blackout goes up about half way to the trunk lip seal. I can take a picture of that tommorow (weather permiting).

You have to improvise
Without the 'CUDA chrome on the tail I did it this way
I thought it turned out OK

I`m not worried about correct since I don`t have the mouldings either, just wanted to get some ideas on how the factory and you guys did yours.Steve or Shaker, could you get me a pic of the top flange area where it goes into the trunk lip?I`d like a pic of that area if you wouldn`t mind. Thanks guys,I`ll post up some pics when mine`s done.

360- your setup looks good!

Here's a question for you 72-74 guys (and gals): Do you use the chrome trim if you plan to put an AAR spoiler on the deck? AND, did the factory produce any 72-74 cars without the trim? If so, how did they do the blackout? I assume it would look like 360's.

I don't think I have ever seen a blackout panel on a stock Barracuda

If you already have the holes in the decklid and the tail you should use the chrome but
it would probably look better without it

I bought a '74 'CUDA that had a T/A spoiler (modified to fit) with the chrome and it didn't look
too bad ;)

I have decklid off of a '70 'Cuda, which doesn't have the holes or studs for trim. My quarters in the rear are under construction  ;D, so I can put in the holes and studs are go without. I'll probably leave the trim off and put on an AAR spoiler. I'm definately doing the blackout treatment.
