Your car wil be a nice one when done. It will be fun watching this thread. I have a 383 N-code 4 speed Challenger. It came purple with a black vinyl top and black interior.

I've gotta say that if the person that I was paying to work on MY car tried to tell me how to build it, I'd be back the same day with the trailer to take it back home.

An S.E. without the rear window plug/vinyl top? This guy is either lazy, not a Mopar guy or doesn't understand simple concepts like customer service.

Oh, I almost forgot.......Nice car! I love S.E.'s, JS or JH, doesn't matter!

Well guys.. The metal work is all done, but I am bringing the car home in order to finish it. The metal work guy is very good, but also very expensive, and I finally got a number out of him with respect to final price, and his quote was through the roof.

I am thankful that someone of his skill level was able to complete all the metal work, and it wasn't cheap. I feel that my car is now stabilized and almost ready for paint. Currently I am building a shop, where she will come home to in a few weeks. From there I am going to get her suspension back in, and then get the engine done.

If you actually knew how long this stuff takes to do right, you be glad that you paid instead of trying to do it yourself. My wife is always asking, "aren't you sick of this thing yet?" and I always say "YES".

Only thing I hate is when you pay good money and it isn't done right.
