NE1 see the movie on Speed last night?Pretty cool movie about a kid and his Ford Falcon in Australia.

 I missed it. Looks like a good watch! A "car guy" movie for sure! I love those Falcon's I have a few die casts of them.

I've always thought the Mad Max car was some kind of modified Torino, but I guess it was a Falcon?

Along with all the credits was a mention that his car is being repaired. Good on ya, mate :cheers:

Heck, i even get the idea Dr.Phil understood what the car meant to him :grinyes:

  Eric loves his XB and races it as often as he can. The race that he usually drives is the Targa Tasmania. The XB came in a 2dr and a 4dr, it was different to anything in America. A few 2dr GT's have been exported to America and have a following.
  Tasmania is the small island at the bottom of Australia on the east side.
  They race on public roads that are closed off, the roads are narrow, it can be very wet and makes for more skilled driving. Many of the top Australian and a few international drivers compete every year in a wide variety of cars from Porsches, top rally cars as well as a lot of muscle car classics.   :burnout:
