Does anyone have a picture of the rod that supports the heater box up to the cowl? My car hasnt had one since i took ownership. Does anyone know where i can get my hands on one? Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Sorry no pic. but I'd make one out of a battery tie down rod or some all thread if push came to shove.

I was thinking about a battery hold down. Anyone know how long the rod should be?. I am assuming it goes through the heater box in the front ( side toward passenger compartment because there is a hole there that is broken out a bit on my box.

then thee is no strap , the hook has a small bolt on the outside of the heater box near the top of the box under the vent from the cowl , the J bolt is inside the heater box & hooks up into the metal cowl vent .
