Tracking threads

Is there a way to keep a list of threads . I find so much useful stuff that I might not need right now but will in the future. How do you track the threads ?

i don't believe there is a feature on the forum that facilitates this but I have a couple of ideas.
  Make a post in the thread with a couple of key words, for example  "Tropical threads" then in the future use the sites search function to search for text "Tropical threads" posted by Tropicalcats, use your imagination use engine under engine threads etc.
  Another is create a folder in your bookmarks & bookmark each thread, you could even create sub folders for different topics.

Bookmarking is the method I use as well. I also keep a small size flash drive dedicated as a backup for bookmarked threads as well as resized pictures that I save to in case something happens to my pc. Nothing too huge, maybe 8GB.
