Need some '70 Challenger parts - What do you have around?
« on: December 07, 2009 - 03:16:57 PM »
I am (finally) getting around to putting together the Challenger, and I discoverd a few items that were 'lost' during the bodyshop disaster process.   :(

Hope some of my fellow C-C'ers can help me out!
Here is what I'm looking for:

    - Left (driver side) tail light lens (in good shape w/ no cracks)
    - Both rear side marker assemblies (not the lens - just the housing/bezel)
    - Front parking light assemblies (that mount into the valence)
    - Hood hinges (1970 style, preferably)
    - Hood catch/hinge assembly (1970 style)

Got any of the above?  Please shoot me a PM through the site.  If it helps for shipping, my ZIP is 48092.

Thank you in advance!

-Tom

Thanks for the responses so far!  If you have any further leads (or have these parts around), please let me know!

moparclown:  Thanks for the tip - I found those parking lights on the 'other site'...I will follow up if nobody around here has them.

CP: Do you know what you would want for the markers, considering they have to ship from beautiful AB down here to Michigan?

Dave:  Thanks for the links.  I've bought stuff from you before, including those beautiful tail light housings a few weeks ago!

dodj: If nobody has any '70 hinges, I will be sending you a message soon.

Thanks again, and please keep me informed if you have (or know where to get) any of this!

I have this? I switched to a T/A hood. This is what was on my car. I say this as I'm not an expert on correct parts. It from a CA car 1970 Challenger. Great shape.

OK - I got the sidemarker housings from Dave at Roseville Chrysler  (If you've never worked with Dave, give him a call...He's one of the good guys in this business).

I still need the other stuff for a 1970 Challenger:

- Left (driver side) tail light lens
- Hood latch and catch
- Hood hinges (I think the '70 style are different from other years)

Brad:  Still have that hood catch?  Any idea for a price?  (Feel free to PM me here)

Anyone have the other stuff?  Thanks in advance.
