bolt-in new E-body Dana 60 options
« on: December 31, 2009 - 10:37:54 AM »
Hey gang..
Trying to help out a friend who's building an e-body R/T convertible clone. Can anyone let me know a list of companies that can build up a Dana 60 for an e-body? Buying new is one option. I'm currently looking in the used parts section of this and other boards...

Thanks...

Cass @ Doctor Diff in Montana would be the frist choice
Strange , Mark Williams will also build a diff to spec , Mark Williams will have a superior product but neither would break in a street car .
I have grabbed a diff out of a 70s ford truck with a clutch sure grip & the ratio I wanted for less than $100 then ordered axles for around $500  & housing ends for around $100 & brgs for $100  & then get the housing narrowed for about $275

No it doesnt, but doc differential makes an easy weld kit to mount the bracket. Takes about 10 minutes. Not expensive either.  3 round stock cut on the correct angle and tapped on the other side for the mount, bolts are included
