Wheelwell Lip Trimming

Has anyone ever cut there wheelwell lip out a little for tire clearance????? good or bad??

I trimmed them on my `69 to fit some bigger tires,just be carefull not to go too narrow and cut past the spot welds and into the wheelhouse or the two pieces will separate but I suppose you could always reweld them together if you really needed that much room.

Mostly I'm thinking resale value and overall appearance
Something that takes a little time to do and alot of time to fix

When you use the spring relo kit you have a wheel well that is almost 14 inches wide 8)

Try that in a nova or camearo

What size tire are you going to run? The spring relo will help out. I am having to fix that problem on my Challenger except the whole lip is rolled in. Although a 11.5 x 29.5 M/T slick fit under the car w/ only the 1/2" shackle/hanger kit

This was done many yrs ago and I hate having to go back and fix :'(
