Where are the #'s located on an e-body? I always look on the cars I see but never find them, I guess I don't know where to check

#'s are on the radiator support on the top drivers side. They are also on the cowl on the drivers side. No numbers on the trunk lip like other body styles.

I just noticed that the "6" and the "9" in my stampings use the same stamp...they just inverted it. Was that standard practice? Who else has a "6" or a "9" in sequential build number that can post a pic?

There is no set, exact location. They can be on top or on the radiator side & anywhere from the middle of the car to over by the battery.
The stamp had 8 wheels with all the numbers, rotate the wheels to the right number set & then stamped.
