Wanted: 1970 Cuda, 4 speed, 440 real V-code, matching #'s
« on: January 24, 2010 - 02:31:04 PM »
I am looking for a 1970 Cuda coupe, 4 speed, 440 real V-code, matching #'s, Category 2 condition and would like ralley dash, console and real(N96) shaker hood. Would consider 1970 Challenger with same options/condition. Would like to keep it under $50k. Any help would be appreciated. My email is mortopk@yahoo.com.

Thanks Again..

You won't find one with matching #'s for that price, even in this economy   :2cents:

:iagree: You either need to lower your condition quality or up your price.  They are still up near 6 figures in top condition.

I sold a clone 440 6 pack shaker hood 4 speed 70 cuda (started as a plain jane 318 barracuda) in this economy for $40k, and it was probably in between a 2 and 3 condition wise. If you want a solid 2 condition v code 70 with a shaker you are easily looking at a minimum of $75k probably closer to $100k.

That is probably the best you will be able to find in that price range, a non numbers matching car that needs some cosmetic work. I would be interested in seeing the fender tag to see if it is a real shaker hood rallye gauge car.

I sent the owner an email to see about a fender tag

I appreciate the reponses, that is something I enjoy about this site. If I changed the catagory to #3 hopefully that would fall in the $50K range.

Thanks again...
