8 3/4 diff service

hi all was looking to change the oil in my diff 8 3/4 846 suregrip  found the fill bung but has no drain do i remove stud in bottom of housing and drain from there.cheers :burnout:

ok just found a post on page 51 (suction pump) what about the stud removing idea does the stud hole go right through then i could replace with a bolt for ease of draining next time :popcorn:

The stud has a head on the back,it is not just a straight thru stud.You have to remove the pumpkin to change the grease.

thanks guys got a suction pump today had the old mud out and nice new oil in within ten mins is there any reason why they dont have drain bungs. :cheers:
