73 Cuda tailight fasteners

Are there special studs and nuts that hold the tailights in place?There seems to be slotted openings in the tailpanel for something,and i have 14 longish capnuts that are for them,but cant really find anything specific in my service manual.

Again thanks,taking this thing apartwas a lot easier than putting it back together.Dosnt help that i lost about half my pictures when one of my flash cards decided to screw up
