Hood bumper question ?

    I need to know the position of the hood bumpers on my 71 Cuda. More specific the rear bumpers location.  I don't think the ones I took off look quite right.  They were screwed into the cowl on both sides.  From looking at pictures of other cars I haven't seen them mounted like this.  Were they mounted in the hood and how many across the back.  I think there was also one in the middle.
