anyone in the 45822 area?
« on: February 13, 2010 - 07:45:03 PM »
I am looking at a pair of used quarter skins on Moparts for my daughters Challenger. Great deal on them and they are exactly what she needs but they are pick up only. I was hoping maybe a member might be real close and would be willing to assist in the purchase of them. She has saved enough so she has the cash for them, just need a middleman to pick them up and ship them out here. I fully understand the pita favor I am asking and would owe someone big time if they could do it. If not I fully understand that too. The zip is for Celina Ohio,

Celina Ohio is basically on the Indianna/Ohio border, the closest member I can think of is Tony (Fishingforcuda) , he may be able to help you out. However I do know his business has been real slow and he has had to layoff a couple of his men, so how much or how long he can leave his shop is questionable.  I don't know your timetable but as soon as I locate another steel hood for my Dart I will be taking it out to Tony's shop (I live across the state SE quarter), but if you come up empty for assistance get back in touch with me, I'm an old retired fart and usually can go on about any time schedule. It would be about a 3 hour drive but that part dosen't bother me, now this weather is another matter  :roflsmiley: BTW, where are you located.?

Another good guy member sonewhat near to Celina would be Keith (Pistol gripper) he lives near Dayton, on the border basically but south of there.

Good luck  :2thumbs:

I have a pair of those that I would let go and ship out.  I think they are repro but am not sure as they have been in storage for five years now and I have had a stroke since then...

Let me know and I'll check them out and get pictures.

Thanks guys, whitesatinmopar, I thank you for you willingness to help. Lets hold off on the other ones and I will let Joe check on what he has. If he wants to sell I would rather the money go to a member. Joe, when you get a chance, check out what you have and get back with me please. I am in southern New Mexico by the way guys, its a long ways from your neck of the woods I am sure. Thanks again for the help guys!

I should be able to get to them tomorrow for lunch.  I'll inspect them and try to get some decent pictures: they're black.

Back to square one but whitesatinmopar, a 6 hour drive is way too much to ask. If no one closer chimes in I will just take it that it was not meant to be, something else will come up I am sure.

Thank, Joe

I just found out today that they are too large for regular ground and the guy was quoted 215 bucks for freight shipment. That is too much so I guess I will have to let those go. Thanks for the thought anyway.
