Quick question on the mopar chrome box I got....it has only 4 pins (my autozone and napa ecus have 5)....not an issue from what I can tell, correct?  I also use the 4 pin ballast, and from what I understand the circuit with the brown wires is all that is needed.....right?
all newer ECU have only 4 pins , the ballast feeds the coil with the brown wire & the ECU with the other side with the green & red wire , the green / red wire is eliminated

Ok, cool.   The harness I bought from Bill evans included those extra wires at the ballast so I had them hooked up.....but like i said, the replacement ECU I had bought at AZ has 5 pins.  The mopar doesnt thats why I was wondering.

Nothing to worry about?

makes no difference , there is power to the ballast but no load as the power goes nowhere
