If I understand what you're asking, the adjuster blade should be completely loose and swiveling within the LCA. Slide the tortion bar in from the rear, once the hex is into the rear mount, just simply rotate the adjuster blade to meet the front end of the bar, use a wooden dowel or equivalent to fully seat the bar. Put a slight load on the bars with the adjusting bolt so when you drop the car it doesn't drop all the way to the ground ( Makes it tough to get the jack out, ask me how I know that
) Don't forget the retainers. Make sure that the LCA shaft and tie rod ends are loose when you adjust the ride height, then tighten it all up and install cotter pins
