What are the 9 little rectangular things along the top each of the fenders inside the engine compartment?

Factory ribbing for strength, should be on all fenders

Poplar Bluff is 20 miles from my home town of Dexter, MO.  I am sure I drove the some of the same streets as that reare and beautiful Challenger.  Driving those streets is a close as I will ever get to the car of course.  Come on Lotto numbers   .
