If you like it thats cool. My dad plays it and although I am on facebook the only game I play is Farkle. I cannot stand all the hugs and flowers and kisses and animals sent to me. I like connecting with people I have not seen in years and years but you can keep all the tooty fruity stuff thank you very much.

Couldn't have said it any better. I don't play games lol. I like to get in touch with mates, see what's on and organising stuff on there, that's it. I joined the group: "We don't care about your pigs, your plants or your mafia" LOL. to each their own. Not for me.

I don't bother, we had an incident last week here in Australia where a family found out on facebook about a death of a family member.   :faint:
There has been a few suicides linked directly to facebook where comments left have pushed a child over the edge.   :villagers:

Can't comment about the death of the family, although very sad, that happens and not only on Facebook.

"Cyber Bullying" isn't new, been around way longer than Facebook and to be fair, that can happen via texting, phone messages or anywhere in this satellite mad world. Just one of those www things I guess. Along with the awesome side of the world wide web you get child porn, live killing videos, spammers and Internet bullies. Use it carefully like you would on any forum, online bank or email account and you have nothing to worry about. People who put their date of birth, phone #s and all their details are just asking for trouble and will get themselves in bad situations and to be blunt, they reap what they sow, it's that simple. A little common sense goes a long way.

Having said all that, Facebook (like any site) isn't for everyone. :drunk:

I'm on after 2 years of tormenting my wife. I dont have anything to do with Farmville, or Hugs, or Farkle, or Karma or whatever. I have no interest in it either.  ???
There are bad parts about the FB thing. The bullying is just one. The friend collector is the other.
What I do like is catching up with friends. :2thumbs:

I wont friend my wife's friends, and it pissed one of them off REAL bad. My wife now gets to enjoy that tension thanks to me. :horse: :clapping: :stirpot:
