Disc brake conversion kit
« on: February 21, 2010 - 03:57:47 PM »
Has anybody installed this kit from performance suspension components? The price, $500 looks pretty good and the kit looks complete. I was wondering what the quality and fit was.

At least tell them you want a Cordoba kit for the caliper mounts, the backing plate and the disc. That way you get a 12" disc setup not a 11". Another way is 2 x calipers and attachment bits = $65, 2 discs 12" = $140, Hoses etc = $100, backing plate and caliper mounts about $50 from wrecker. So $350 odd for srounging and $499 for bolt on kit. I would go for the kit.

Looks like a decent kit for the price.

Size will depend on wheel diameter. 14" wheels will only fit 11" rotors, 15" wheels will allow 12" rotors.
