Tubular UCA question
« on: February 22, 2010 - 01:02:41 PM »
I picked up a set of tubular UCAs from Just Suspension, and threaded the ball joint in over the weekend.  But when I look at the stock boot, it seems like it's way too big, since the thickness of the UCA is different when compared to stock.  Is there a different boot I should be using for the tubular UCAs?

I'm not aware of any other boots available for use. Certainly once it is installed it will compress to hold it in place, but I also suspect it may deform a fair amount. You might have to install and mock up to see if  you can live with the deformation and if not, trim the boot down until you like the way it looks.

I know that here in Australia we can buy universal boots in various sizes, however as mentioned do a trial fit the boot may not compress all the way depending upon how far down the taper it goes.
