    Removing 1971 E Body Center Console

    So I dont needlessly break anything:  I need to completely remove the center console in my 71 E body to repair some cracks.

    any removal steps are appreciated

    shifter then top plate and then console. At least thats how I did mine.

    once you remove the top plate there are 4 screws holding it down , 2 in the glove box at the rear & two in front of the shifter
