This reminds me of my junkyard trips back in the 70s where I routinely came across relatively new muscle cars that ended before their time often in a spectacular way.  The good news back then was that parts for my Roadrunner were plentiful, but of course that many fewer are available today.  A lot of these cars would have been saved if anyone had any idea what they'd be worth someday...  I wonder if the same could be true for modern day Challengers.

I may be way off base and dreaming but I don't think these new Challengers are going to be $500 cars in ten years like most others. With what the dealers are asking for used ones today, it's just a couple k under what they sold for new. I think they are going to hold their value. Sure they may loose some at first but I just don't see them getting to the price you can buy a 10-12 year old rustang on camaru. Like I said maybe just wishfully thinking but I guess time will tell.

You could buy that car and fix it,but when you went to sell it I think the carfax report would not go well.
