OK, Cars I've owned and would like to have back..

70 Challenger R/T 440-6 4 speed supertrac pac car..lime lite with black interior..sold it for 26K about 4years ago

Vitamin C 440-6 Auto Superbird....got brain freeze and decided I wanted a cuda droptop, so i sold it for 46K 3 years ago....at least i got the cuda droptop!

70 coronet r/t ragtop, 32K mile survivor car, sold it in 2000....that car has been restored and is being advertised as a survivor still, but i got the pics.....Hmmmmm

Cars i passed on...

71 Cuda 440-6 COLUMN automatic...$5000  in the late 80's....hated the column shift..it also had a misstruck VIN...VIN plate read VS23V1Bxxxxxx..triple black car

Never saw this car in person, but did see the ad in the local speed shop..this was 1979 or 80???? 70 Hemicuda convert..red/red automatic car....asking 3K....I hated ragtops at the time.....LOL...so I did not even go to look at it.
DONT go there...I already know! I would not have kept it anyway, i would have got bored and sold it for a profit, then it would be on the list above.

NEVER look back on your old cars with seller's remorse...it will drive you to drink!

Time for a beer!

Here is the two I passed on.  In 1993 I called on an ad in the paper, the guy was selling a real numbers matching 1970 440 six pack Cuda, it had the shaker hood, 4-speed, and 4:10 Dana rearend.  On top of all that it was a factory sublime green car ;D. The guy said it needed to be restored but ran fine and he was asking $8500.  Like most of the other posted stories, back then $8500 was lot of money for me, and I couldn't afford it.  The worst part was in the same ad the guy was also selling a numbers 1971 340 Cuda for $3000 I talked to my wife about it but I couldn't sell her on the idea, so I blew it off :-\.

Oh well, coulda, shoulda, woulda.  It still turned out OK, a few years ago I finally was able to buy a 1970 340 4-speed Cuda (a decent driver) ;D so I don't feel so bad about the two that got away.
1970 Cuda 340 4-speed - now stroked to 416ci (SOLD)

Only one I can recall recently was a 1970 lime green Road Runner.  Originally a 383 4 speed, had a running 440 in it, the original 383 came witgh it, air grabber hood, fuel cell in trunk, but had the gas tank.  pretty much all there, needed a rear quarter, resto wouldn't have been too hard.  $3500 would have taken it.
