I am in the process of replacing the passenger rear frame rail on my 71 vert. It is an amd repo and does not fit exactly. Is this normal. Thanks for any input

These are not legos. Please post some pictures and I'm sure you'll get all the help you need.
There is a lot of things that can affect alignment.

the torque box to shock tower mount is out by about 3/8" higher on rise . I can probably pull it down but wondered if this was a typical fit. ps torque box and upper shock mount are in exact sock location . sorry I have no pics

Mine fit perfect. Couldn't ask for better. Same side,'73 'cuda. Not sure of where you're talking about on the car. Pics would help. Keep it all level, measure a lot. I used self-tapping screws to pull it tight in some areas. R/T

I replaced both of mine and had no problems with fit at all. Keep in mind that it's just sheet metal and has a lot of flex to it.

I have sold quite a few Sherman and AMD rails. No reported issues with either. I agree with Dave.
