:iagree: That looks like a 73 motor and it appears to have a 73 date code.

BIGS,
your motor is from a 73 B or E body.
It will have the wrong size shaft at the rear for a 1970 application.
The crank arm you have is correct ( 2822289) for 70.
You have 2 choices available. Your can either get a correct appearing motor with incorrect part numbers and date code
or a correct 3431077 motor like JS27N0B posted.
Those wire connections are a fire waiting to happen!
Call me at 450-656-5438.
I will help you out and it won't take a year. I am feeling better now.
Jules

Hopefully you already have the correct wiper switch. For 1970 it was a variable one with part number 2770380.
Now I gotta find out what I actually got vs what I actually need.

I'm guessing the switch is correct. Feels like 2 clicks and a sweep, got the curved "arrow" on it as I recall. O he11 John, I dont wanna run out to the garage now. Its late and its raining!   ... good thing I'm trying to fix the wipers!  :roflsmiley:  :roflsmiley:
