I see no reason the cam would not work but you need better valve springs
so what do you want from the engine ?
there are better cam choices available from Lunati in the VooDoo series with more lift & less duration that will idle better & give you a more usable powerband

With stock springs, no. You will be in coil bind. But swap on a set of MP Hemi springs or someone's Edelbrock take offs and you could. It wil be soft down low and I wouldn't,, but you could.

Nothing should be run with stock springs IMO. Certainly not a performance oriented cam. As Neil said you can look at Lunati which have some good grinds but all require dual springs which means machining on the heads. If you want to stay MP (and I personally wont for quality control reasons) then you'll have to get an MP general performance spring to use with it. A nice bacis easy package would be the Summit brand smaller cam and Comp 901-16 springs. Basically all drop in for you and the cam, lifters, springs, and gaskets should be under $350.

All Lunati cams do not require dual springs. They're easier to source than singles to get the lift and spring pressure right, but I was able to find a set of single springs to work with my Lunati voodoo 60404.

And I wouldn't run a performance cam with stock springs, check the specs listed with the cam and buy springs accordingly. While the bind height of the springs is important, you should also make sure the seat pressure is correct too. Just because a set of springs will take the lift you want doesn't mean they'll give you the right seat pressure.

This is the cam that is in my 340.  It sounds amazing and pulls to 7000 rpm in a hurry.   I do have a 4 speed and a 4.10 gear though.  I would not run it with stock valve springs as others have mentioned.  If it is available in a kit with matching springs, that would be your best bet.  I don't think this cam would be fun in an automatic car(w/o a big converter) or a car with a gear numerically lower than 3.91.  It is really too much cam for 9.5:1 compression imho.  If you were around 10.5-11:1 then I would say go for it.
