what would you guys pay for an original 340 six pack set up?  Manifold, carbs, air cleaner and new filter, in good working order?

50% of what it would cost for new in my opinion.
Used carbs can be troublesome if they are over 30yrs old.

;) I second that, With the new MP making most of what you need available, that makes the price of the used items go down a bunch. I wouldn't pay more than 1000.00, it would be around 2200.00 if I am not mistaken to go brand new from manifold to air cleaner assy. That's for a 440 setup and I would think the 340 wouldn't be too different.  :D

April all the T/A guys I know ask for about $1600 in decent condition. However for that price the carbs usually need a rebuild and I would say everything is in driver condition. If you don't care about original parts you may be better off going through Mopar and getting brand new stuff for a couple hundred more.

Hopefully you've come across a sweet deal !  :)

I was thinking the same thing most of you said.  For a few hundred dollars more I could have all new stuff.  Here is what I found on ebay yesterday

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2493105541&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I don't really have the cash to spend on a six pack just yet but I do think that is going to be the way I will go in the near future.

:) That will be awesome, hope you find the setup you like. I purchased one from eBay a year ago or so and with shipping ended up paying 1200.00 for just the manifold and carbs, paid another 400.00 for the air filter assembly. The setup on eBay isn't bad but by the time you do everything you need to do to it you are going to be into it another couple hundred dollars. Hmm, I'd probably go for the new setup. Good Luck!  :D

I wouldn't even think about that e-bay set-up. They are not even Chrysler carbs as the fuel inlet is on the wrong side of the carberator and they are mechanical rather than vacuum.
