No `cuda work for me this week as the chilly air has hit up here and I needed to start work on my Ramchrger plow truck. :( I rebiult the Edelbrock carb and got it back on and it runs good now,no suprise it ran horrible before as the carb was pretty nasty inside.Next is replacing the drivers floor pan so I don`t fall through this winter  :o and while I`m at it I bought both rear quarter patch panels so I`ll be busy welding for a while.I`ll post some pics of the RC and the progress if you guys and gals are interested. It`s an `85 with a rebiult 360/auto,Edelbrock cam, intake etc.

got some of the ralley hood I am trying to figure out why someone put a thin layer of bondo over the entire thing! Hope it doesn't reveal its warped or something or I will be in the market for another hood or go with the six pack style scoop that it came with.

Some "bodymen" think they can get a car to look straighter by doing that, I bet your hood is just
fine  ;)

Thanks 360, the proof will be once I get the stuff all buffed off and see what it reveals. Hopefully you are right and that is all that was done.  :D

No work here either.  :(
They offered 20 hours of overtime over the past two weeks, so I've been going crazy doing that and trying to get some money saved up for Challenger bits. At the rate I'm going now it should only take me another month to get the $1100 for the rest of the body panels.

I'm debating on selling the Polara, but only if I really need to.

JH, looks like your taking apart a REALLY good looking car!  I know you've been taking it apart for a little while now, what are your plans?  Just a repaint or are your doing a total resto?  Are you staying with that beautiful blue color?

Hey JHMoparnut, that is in very good condition, looks nice already without any resto! Can you tell me where you got the steering wheel? Nice, I would like the same in mine. Thanks!!

Thanks Rev! I guess I'll call it a partial resto. The car is a 74 but had a 70 front clip and rear sidemarker lights. As long as my body guy can "massage" the 74 fenders I have I am going to put the correct front clip back on. New quarters will also be installed and possibly fiberglass bumpers. I am going to replace the carpet, sill plates, and headliner. Motor will just get a fresh repaint and maybe an aluminum intake. As for the color??? Yes I will stay with a similar blue or the wife likes plum crazy purple. I may have to have everyone vote :)

Thanks plum6,

I believe the steering wheel is a Grant. It has been on the car since I got it in 1985. The "spokes" where originally silver. I painted them black. The Chally was painted the current color back in 1989, I finally have an opportunity to freshen it up. It is a nice "ten footer" car. Come spring a nice hmm.......2 footer :D
