Ok so I am installing a new Bill Evans engine wiring harness, but still am having some trouble.
I have the brown wire going to my ww pump, the dbl, green, and blk going to the alternator, the violet to the temp guage, the dbl to the carb, grey to the oil gauge, I then spliced the red wire from my MSD 6AL box to the brown and dbl to omit the ballast, with the blk going to ground.
Then on the other side, I have the yellow going to the ignition post on the starter relay, and off the headlight harness I have the thick red attached to the blue with the fusible link also going to the starter relay. This I believe is correct.
My issue is the split that comes off the engine harness with the 2 yellow wires and another wire (I forget the colour) that meet up in the 3 inlet adaptor and the blk wire. Where does this go? I heard this is for a seatbelt relay of which I do not need, but one of the yellow wires is the main power, no? I cannot get the dash to power up or the engine to start.
Please some wisdom.
Also do you have a '74 'Cuda wiring diagram?
Kyle.
