Drip Rail rim question and fender trim question
« on: March 21, 2010 - 02:03:05 AM »
On I need to get just on drivers side front drip rail trim molding, or send it off and have it straightened, it has a ding in it.

Also how do you get these puppies off?

Anyone have one for sale?

Next question, on the front fenders I noticed some cars have the fender chrome on the wheel openings, how do you know if you should have it? I am up in the air to add it or leave as it looks now? Also not sure if my car came with it and not sure how you can find out if so.
Help, pics etc thanks!

i just learned how to remove the drip rail moldings last week from another thread on here.  you have to pull out the rubber window gasket.  that exposes some screws that hold in the first layer.  you remove those screws and then carefully pry it apart.  its held to the next piece with double sided tape.  once you pry that first piece off youll expose a row of screws that need to be removed to get that second piece out.  its held to the next piece with double sided tape too.  after you pry that one off theres another piece with screws.  if i remember right the whole shabang was held on with 13 screws and 2 layers of double sided tape.
